Chapter 2 Population: Project
Select a country from any of the world regions. (Europe, North America, Central American) You will be creating a profile of the country’s population. You will be working in groups of two or three, your choice. Include the following in your WeVideo 1. Brief history of the country you’ve selected. 2. Why do geographers look at population? 3. How is population measured? 4. What does population tell us about what the country is experiencing or will experience? 5. Where are people concentrated? Distributed? Clustered? Where is population dense or over populated? 6. Important regions where population is found and why there? 7. Environmental regions found in your country. 8. Adaptations made by your nation to accommodate population. 9. Developed or Undeveloped Country. (Explain) Also include the following as well: 1. Arithmetic Density 9. Sex Ration 2. Physiological Density 10. Maternal Mortality Rate 3. Agricultural Density 11. Population Pyramid 4. Doubling Time 12. Dependency Ratio 5. Life Expectancy 13. Infant Mortality Rate 6. Birth Rate 14.
