Student Introductions
Learning Target: Students will be able to accurately use general academic and domain-specific words and phrases, sufficient for speaking and writing.
Student will write a personal narrative using guided questions posed by the teacher. Students will then use their narrative to create a short bio-pic of themselves using Adobe Sparks.
The assignment:
1. You will create short 2 min and 30 second video self introduction on Adobe Spark. You can either work on your own or partner up with some one you might know in class.
2. Interview your partner or answer the following questions about your self. You will then use your responses to write a narrative, about 8-10 sentences.
Questions.
1. First and last name
2. Family back ground
3. High school activities/involvement sports etc.
4. Academic goals for the school year/ and long term goals
5. Hobbies/interest
6. Something nobody really knows about you.
7. What do they expect to get out of the class.
3. Write a narrative from the information you gathered. It should be about 2 min long. Your job is to hype your self/partner up!
4. Once you completed the narrative begin to create your video on Adobe Spark.
5. Include pictures that line up with your narrative. So if your partner likes playing soccer the image we see is of them playing. Not watching TV.
Important: Your goal is to visually reflect what your narrative is saying.
Due: Sunday by 11:59 pm uploaded to google classroom.

Today you will continue to work on your own exploring Adobe Spark and completing part two of the student introduction video.
You will also need to complete the exit slip day 3 for attendance purposes.
I will be available for tutoring during the 1;00 -2:00 pm hour. As long as their are at least two students asking to join the meeting I will open zoom meet. If not email me your questions.

Lesson 1 What is History?
Learning Target: Students will be able to explain why we study history and explain the process historians go through in order to write history.
Students will actively listen and engage in a lecture through open ended questions, write a summary and define academic vocabulary from this lesson.
