Students will map the different regions of the world and define the characteristics that connect these regions together under the cultural landscape principal of geography. Mapping Activity: World Regions 1. On the World Map handout identify each of the following regions that geographers have identified in the World. (Some maps vary so search each one as needed on its own)
2. Once you have identified each of the following regions list and label at least 4 countries found in this region. 3. Then identify the characteristics of the cultural landscape that connects these places together. Research and provide the information listed below. a. Economic industry b. Language c. Religion d.
